The rapid dynamic changes, accents, marked cross-stickings, grace notes, tempo modulations, and precise rhythmic execution contained in this work, will stimulate both the performer and audience alike. This is a difficult grade 3 solo. There are no tuning changes involved and hard felt mallets are suggested to achieve the staccato nature of the active and consistent rhythmic driven solo for two drums. It makes an interesting and recommended solo for contest or audition.
