Twenty-Two Holiday Inspired Solos & Etudes

"Twenty-Two Holiday Inspired Solos and Etudes" was written for snare drum. (Level:  Middle to Young High School)  This collection uses easy rudiments to advanced and was arranged for private lessons and group lessons(many pieces include stickings). Although written for the fall months of school, these arrangements can be learned, played, and performed all year long. While the other instruments are playing holiday melodies in their private lessons, this is not usually the case for snare. Most holiday music for snare usually encompasses quarters, eighths, or off beat rhythms.  This compilation is holiday inspired and includes:  8th & 16th notes; dotted rhythms; paradiddles; flams; flamacues; flam taps; drags; multiple bounces; 5, 9, & 17 stroke rolls; and time signatures of 2/4, 4/4, 3/4, cut time, and 6/8.  These arrangements can be used sequentially or separately from year to year with your students.
